Hi! My name is Harpreet Singh, and I am a writer by profession, hailing from Jamshedpur. 

I created tryingtobebalnced.com because I wanted the freedom to write about every topic I genuinely care about. And, considering the diverse range of things I cover, I knew that nobody else would have given me the freedom to do so.

To be fair, it probably isn’t the safest idea either. But I am all in, and if you still see this website around a few years from now, I guess we’ll have our answer.  

​As for what I write about – I cover whatever interests me, although I primarily write about movies, sports, and tech (for now).  Now, I don’t force a tone before writing, I just go where the words take me. However, I have noticed that my writing usually has an easy-to-understand, emotional, human tone, and at times, a fun tone to it.

Besides running this site, I have 3+ years of experience as a Freelance Content Writer where I’ve written on various topics including, Celebrity Biographies and Mobile Reviews. As for my education, I have a degree in B.COM from A.B.M. College, Jamshedpur and a Post Graduate Diploma in Sports Management from I.I.S.W.B.M., Kolkata.  

When I am not working, you’ll find me watching a movie, a wrestling show or relaxing by the lake.
